The News Channel appears to be making a lot of continuity errors when it comes to trailers. There have been a few now where I've seen the trailer is advertising a program that has just been on. I noticed this with Buisness Live a few weeks ago, they played the advert just after the program aired. I noticed tonight that they played the "Coming up" with World News Today and the following two programs and then Our World, tonight at 9:30 at 10:45… Noticed this has been getting more and more frequent in recent months and weeks…

Hasn't this happened for years - even back in the News 24 days? Promos for programmes that aired days before, promos straight after the programme they're advertising, the same promo twice in one break - it's nothing new.

Why on earth at the start of each Business Live edition do the two presenters look at each other for a split second before saying 'welcome to Business Live'?

They've been alright and not too cheesy, but Friday's seemed like the two were daydreaming into each others eyes.

It seems like it's been that way since the beginning. I first noticed it one week when Ben was away and Aaron was filling in and I thought he was flirting/joking around. Aaron seems to have that kind of larger than life personality that could easily keep you entertained. I then noticed it with Sally and Ben later on. At times it seems like they are caught off guard once the show goes live.

Could it be that they are waiting for an opt-in to happen?

BBC News took BBC World with Geeta on a presser on the Greek Eurozone agreement.

The News Channel has just dumped out of Breakfast (far too late, in my personal opinion) to join World for coverage of the major breaking news on the Greek bailout. Breakfast was doing a live from a zoo.

Will be interesting to see what the News Channel do at 9.15! Will they really break away from this breaking story as details of the Greece deal emerge, to go to Victoria Derbyshire hosting a Labour leadership hustings. Might the Derbyshire programme go out only on BBC TWO today?

To be fair to VD, a very unfortunate day to host an OB on a topic that isn't really agenda setting - and impossible to cancel.

Unfortunate maybe, but when they commissioned this programme they should have been aware there will be situations like this. It is simply evidence that the VD programme does not work - breaking news should always take priority.

A debate between Labour leadership contenders is important - but not on a rolling news channel for nearly two hours.

And yet... they're taking the Victoria Derbyshire programme as usual. Good grief.

They'd probably still take Victoria Derbyshire if there was a major incident in London, because why sacrifice those 'lovely films'.

A sad state of affairs really. Not sure the News Channel can be taken seriously anymore. As well as Greece, a potentially huge breaking story in Paris too with hostages in a Primark store.

The VD programme is simply not what the News Channel should be about.

Surely they have to switch to World on the NC?

Off to Sky News it is then. The VD show should not have taken priority here. no wonder there is speculation the news channel will move online!
