That looks a lot better
You think?
Way too cluttered. Trying to tell you too much without straying from the lower third space.
Would be better if the Poll Of Polls was picked out more in a left to right full cross screen black strap. Then move the 'X' in a open box graphic to the other side of the screen, and remove that clumsy clash of white box, over the grey line to line map used in on the three weeks to go graphic.
Although I do like the blending in of Nick's tie with the Purple UKIP poll percentage!

What's the role of the person stood at the table in the Campaign Hub at the laptop, seen from the Trundlecam wide shot?

The News at Nine is no longer called that on the 'TV Guide' on iPlayer. It to has lost its 'This is the BBC News at Nine' introduction, instead the original 'This is BBC News, I'm XX, the headlines at 9.
However the 9 titles remain. This change seems to be brought in as the News at Nine is soon to be ditched to be replaced with Outside Source, and as well with only a half hour bulletin as a repeat of Election Tonight is shown at 9:30.
Also seem to mention, that since the launch of Election Tonight, Clive has been on the 6:30-9 shift and Rebecca Jones has covered since, so seems to be her as the main replacement for the time being.

On such occasions, I wonder if they have a presenter desk-sitting, just in case something goes wrong with both ob's/links?
News at Ten didn't have a presenter in the studio either. It is good though they can do a whole bulletin on location.

Is it normal for the News Channel (and possibly national news) to use some of the regions reports, as in the last 15 minutes or so one reporter said, 'BBC Look North' and another one said 'Reporting Scotland'.
I guess if a report has been made there is no point in making another, but I'm just wondering if this is normal for the News Channel as I haven't seen it before

I suppose it does make sense as 'they' have already made the report and there is no point in sending a BBC News reporter to do the same report.
But maybe if they made two ending one with the regions' name and one with BBC News, but the 'Reporting Scotland' report I saw was about the sheepdog (or something?) so if you have animals it might not go well?
This does happen a lot during the evenings, most obviously after the regions main program.
