Yes back in 2003 David Lowe composed the Newsbeat theme tune. If I remember rightly it wasn't that great originally, although it did receive some tweaks that improved it later on.

I may have not caught up with this, but when OS begins its broadcasts on N24, will they be repeats of the original broadcast hours before or a live edition which mixes content appropriate for UK viewers only?

It will be a LIVE edition broadcast on both BBC News and BBC World News.

Rather entertaining opening to today's BBC One/News Channel 12pm bulletin.

I wish crew would go more for a brisk but confident stride out of shot rather than a hunched scurry.

An even worse camera problem on tonights Ten.

The camera moved away from Reeta on the catwalk towards the desk...



The studio pan cam was then put on to save Reeta.

An unusual one that we've not seen before.

It was interesting because they cut to an almost 'behind the scenes' shot, where you could see the camera that was supposed to be used turning back round. Reeta had to read from her paper script until presumably the camera/autocue came back into view.

Well handled I thought.

Seems to be a bit of a running joke how often that happens now.

Clearly the naughty step doesn't work with these cameras.
