It also says it will be 'made available to all media' - I wonder does that mean the BBC NC can simulcast it if they wish to?

If it's the same as 2010 then yes. BBC and Sky made their debates available live to anyone else who wanted to simulcast it, so the Sky News debate was simulcast on the BBC News Channel and vice versa (but ITV didn't allow UK simulcasts, which meant the ITV debate was simulcast on BBC World News, but CNNI and Al Jazeera English couldn't show it)

Not sure if this should be in the websites forum but anyway...

The election website looks quite good - hopefully a similar design will be used on TV in terms of graphics etc. The simplicity is refreshing.

All using the Sky font too (as the rest of the site does).

Among the interactive tools is a site called 'Biffed' that I have never come across before - is this a Sky News project?

Thanks - my boss will be delighted! I should also point out that if you have Sky itself, we'll be soft-launching the Election section of our Catch-Up service tomorrow. It'll have almost every election-related VT from the last couple of months, plus virtually every other major bit of video content going forward.

As for Biffed, my understanding is that it's meant to be a platform for content that there isn't necessarily time to show on TV, and in particular, for the correspondents to show their creative and humourous side.

That's a lot better set for Sunrise. I hope it will be used permanently.

Strange they are continuing to present from the Cafe this morning.

I wonder if they will use the Cafe all day and whether the main desk is somehow being used as part of tonights programme?

Or maybe the studio is getting changes for Election? Also the desk is still in use but there is no pan studio shots.

Yesterday I have seen a studio pan. They are usually seldom when presenters are on location as in the last days due to the plane crash.

So I don't think so!
