One has to wonder why Aerial has yet to appear on the network.

I'm wondering if Afternoon Classics Season 3 is starting next week. The Rockford Files and Cagney and Lacey are in the weekday afternoon schedules. In addition to the currently aired 90s idents, will NI resume the airing of Silk, Diary, Steam and Firecracker (with the 97 logo), with these programmes? I hope so.
They really need to put Paint on too. Paint pot seems incomplete without the reference back to the original. On an unrelated note we have a channel here in NZ that has very similar idents to these old ones. Unfortunately I have no recording equipment to get any footage of them and they are quite differently used compared to the ones on BBC2.

Do you have a phone or camera which could video the screen? Wouldn't be ideal but
It would at least show us what they look like.

Paint was used on Network before Cagney and Lacey yesterday, during the new season of Afternoon Classics, so, even though Paint presumably won't be shown outside of the AC slot, it looks like Network will be making use of both, at the moment.

Both NI channels go retro this evening:
Finally tonight, if you like things vintage - keep a watch out over the next few days between the programmes on @bbconeni and @bbctwoni...
