Blade shown on NI, before Saints and Scroungers.
Looks like it hasn't been forgotten, thank god!
I think Wave Night and the Gorilla idents are the only regular post-1997 ones that haven't been shown on at least one of the BBC2 nations or Network, since Afternoon Classics Season 2! (I'm not including the other two versions of Kebab, with that). I'm really hoping NI will delight us all, and will include the few left that remain!
I've spoken before about the problem of showing Gorilla with logo placed bottom-right, due to the placement of the 2 on-screen. I wonder if it would be permissible to have the logo placed bottom-left, just for this one?

You do know Gorilla has two versions
or is that three?

I think at some point Paul Reid (who created NI's Wave Day edit) said that he only created a Wave Day edit and not a Wave Night edit. This probably means that we won't be seeing Wave Night again. There's still hope though.
I think there are only two variations - the usual and Tantrum. As D.Page noted, the 50 Years box still would not fit on either version unless it is swapped to the left hand side.

"I think Wave Night and the Gorilla idents..."
I meant the two versions of Gorilla in the above quote, but I realise I could have been clearer.

Yes, this is what Paul said to me, in a reply to a tweet I sent him. However, if these are to stay for the rest of the year, there's plenty of time for it to be introduced at a later point. Here's hoping

Re: Wave: may be worth noting that, if the initial idents from January 2000 alone have been located, Wave Night wasn't a part of that set - so may not be available for NI to air unless found separately.
Not a mock up - same footage as the original
Blade looks different somehow to the original. Is it a mock up?

Garden on NI, before Gardeners' World.

Almost - Duck, Zapper, and Paint Pot.
Swan and Gorilla were both introduced post-1997 - the latter originally aired as a programme-specific ident for The Animal Zone.
I have a question about the 1997 idents - the TV Ark page says that four new idents were introduced at the time of the rebrand, along with the previous idents. It says Aerial is one of them. I'm presuming that Duck, Zapper, and either Swan or the Gorilla idents were the other three?

Ah, thanks - that threw me off since Paint Pot isn't included at all on the 1997 page. http://www2.tv-ark.org.uk/bbctwo/1997_idents.html
