I agree. The Millennium set's life was ended prematurely. Clearly, they were made to be used for several years and that the decision to rebrand with the purple box and yellow background was made later. They definitely stand up today. The more minimalist logo in the corner is also great.
As for Paint, it looks like very few pre-1997 idents are planned to be used at this stage, though if there here till the end of the year that could easily change, I suppose. Someone said the older ones have dated but I think it depends on the individual ident. Car is the oldest brought back under this 50 Years thing and it looks fab to me, despite being 21 years old.
Anyway, this is like all my Christmases come at once. Love seeing these on the big screen again. If they're here till the end of the year, as rumoured, then that's surely curtains for the window idents. Perhaps they might make new idents but on the design principles of these classic idents. A nice though.
It would be great to see some of the later additions (Wave and Catalyst) in broadcast quality, as they got comparatively little airtime first time round and stand up so well aesthetically today.

Don't worry, we all get dreams like that. I once dreamed that Homes Under The Hammer had gained a new presenter and a new title sequence - then I woke up to see it on my TV, without the changes. I was mildly disappointed, and then relieved.
I'm sure I didn't dream seeing Wave night last night late on, or was that a dream?

Subtitles flag with the Network version is not bold either, like Predator and Swan is. Looks much better (though I'd rather they didn't use it at all!).
