No, white logo on the titles looks crap full stop, doesn't matter what the animation was, it would always look crap. If it was actually integrated into the titles, like at the top of the sun (much like the 'GMTV' on the old GMTV Today logo) it would look good!

I agree, its just a simple flag to reinforce that its an ITV programme, a fade is all that's needed, works for the BBC and ABC Studios.

Why would we integrate it? The programme is called Daybreak not itv Daybreak. As others have pointed out its brand reinforcement not a programme name change. The BBC have been doing it for years. Its supposed to be subtle and not part of the animation.

During their interview with Paula Hamilton (celebrity Big Brother) yesterday, did I see a 'Daybreak exclusive' tag on the screen. wow Sky and the beeb must have been gutted not to pick up an interview with someone who has already been interviewed on Channel 5's digital channels twice! Really 'Daybreak exclusive' ??? WTF

There isn't one, maybe they could get more viewers - but the brand is tainted. I'll watch it regardless because I'm not a sheep and frankly can do without Bill 'smug' Turnbull and whichever 'token female' sits next to him.

There isn't one, maybe they could get more viewers - but the brand is tainted. I'll watch it regardless because I'm not a sheep and frankly can do without Bill 'smug' Turnbull and whichever 'token female' sits next to him.
