I would like you to know that I thought a long time about if it's appropriate to post this post in this thread or not. I came to the conclusion that I will post it in this thread because the main issue was the studio and I thought the studio is part of "presentation".

The ticker has stopped rolling on my TV. No time displayed and just a 'More at skynews.com' on the ticker.

The bar on the desk of the presenter in the shoebox , is now glowing red.

It also looked a lot smaller in height too

I think Philippa is trying to edge the New Year honours in as the Top Story after the voiceover, as when she goes to it, it is clearly not on her AutoCue and she is reading from notes/a script and it takes a while for them to bring up pictures.

Is it just me or does sky get through the news much quicker than the BBC news

I always watch the New Year countdown on Sky but I always wonder why for such a big occasion both ITV news and Sky News are only allowed use their own cameras? On the BBC they are the host broadcaster and so the music and firework display is in sync. I always feel as though the pictures Sky and ITV show doesn't do justice to the event.

Sky News SD graphics have been sized to the HD ones I think? Although they are positioned in the same place as usual.

Notice Kay Burley's on this morning.

Only time I hear about her normally is when she's upsetting someone!
