And, by the way, whatever happened to good old Community Policing, like Stephen Dixon is getting? We live in a different World. But that's a different story altogether.............................
Since I'm here, I must say that Jayne Secker is bloody good as a news presenter. Even better than some of the *bigger* Sky News names.......

I thought someone might be interested about Gillian, On another note I do like Mark Longhurst, He comes across as very friendly, I liked the comments in tonights 23:30 press preview when it came on the jib camera was looking down on them and he said your up there, were down here with the press preview, When they came back from the adverts the camera was low down looking up at them to which he said your down there now after all the news on the economy, His laugh also sounds like Mutley
Every presenter,no matter who gets boring if they are presenting too often. Not so with paula and martin. They should have at least 9 presenting hours per week. ( great presenters)
For those who are interested: When I started watching skynews in 2009 I did not like paula as a presenter.
But somehow my mind has changed.
I think that Anna Jones, Jayne Secker, Samantha Simmonds and Lorna Dunkley are all better presenters than Paula Middlehurst. She's good but not as good as the four I've just mentioned.
As regards Martin - he continues to be a hotbed of conversation on this forum. I used to be a massive fan of Martin - he was incredible during the Israel-Gaza-Lebanon conflict on-location around 2005. However my understanding is that he plays a major role behind the scenes in Sky News regarding technology. It'd be nice to see him in a larger slot where he can have more enthusiasm for it, something that's not coming across in his current slot.
