Mark is moving to lates

Weekend or weekday? Interesting, given Sunrise with Mark Longhurst is (in normal news cycles) often one of the most watched programmes, is it not?

Surprised to hear that Mark Longhurst is moving out of Weekend Sunrise. I thought he was rather good in that slot. Perhaps the move is of his own choosing.

Steve Dixon is taking over, though, which isn't a bad thing either.

And, I guess (assume/presume) that Kay Burley will be doing Christmas Day Sunrise, as per tradition?

Quite weird, as instead of mark longhurt its Samantha Simmonds whos doing the night shift, which probably means that samantha does fri-sun night and mark does mon-thur

Or Mark's on holiday.

Quite. It is a week before Christmas, after all.

I don't tend to watch Sky News these days - unless it's for Sunrise when I'm pretending to have a job on the radio.

But I was just flicking past and noticed a promo - Jeff Randall's Christmas Dinner.

Yeah, I think I realise why I've stayed away for a while (!)

Jeff Randall was annoying tonight during a recorded interview with Rachel Reeves MP, He was constantly interupting her every 2 seconds because she wasent agreeing with him and telling him what he wanted to hear, I've seen him do this before with people, Don't ask someone a question and then 2 seconds into their reply ask something else and talk over them constantly

Also I didn't like how Eamonn Holmes spoke to Eric Pickles MP a few days back which was played constantly throughout the day, waving his arms about and shouting him down all the time like a baby having a tantrum

I've gone off Eamonn this year on sunrise and much preffered Mark Longhurst, I'm not bothered what Eamonn and Charlotte's opinions are on every story, You have newspaper reviewers to do that job, They also increasingly mention twitter throughout the 3 hours, Am I watching to hear what viewers think or am I watching for the news, It's the latter for me

I like the double press preview reviewers on a night, The best pair are Kevin Maguire & Andrew Pierce, If teamed up with Anna Botting are always a good watch, Kelvin MacKenzie is also a good 1

I preffered just having 1 on a morning though, James Whale as 1 example always used to be funny and controversial now he has less time to speak its quite boring, I think it worked better with 1 as we have Eamonn and Charlotte contributing their opinions about most things anyway

Probably not popular views but it would be boring if we all agreed

Colin Brazier on Sky News on a Saturday afternoon? Is that normal?

He usually does the Saturday morning shift (10-12), but today it looks as though they've merged the 10-12 and 12-2 shifts.

Red dressed Kay Burley on Sunrise, as per expectations. Although, is almost voiceless.

And now the weather lady on Sky News is also wearing bright red. What's going on?????
