In the days of three presenters and every show being live, they had to have the flexibility for a presenter to be location filming on a show day, with only two presenters on the show?

With only two presenters, this suggests there are fewer studio days, fewer filming days or both?

I'm pretty sure that for the last few years, the show has only been live every other week, with the following week's shows recorded in the same session. Although not every show has been live for years now, since it went thrice-weekly I think.

Interesting to see that the 2000 Blue Peter design still lives on in the form of the Badge Card (the font that is).

Surprised really the badge hasn't been ditched. Anyone here ever have one - or indeed know anyone who did (who'd admit it!)?

I can't see the show ever recovering. It's a tarnished brand. Its target audience think it is rubbish, boring, irrelevant. Even the name doesn't mean anything, it doesn't say anything about the content of the show.

Two presenters are more than enough. Are you seriously suggesting it needs more than two presenters to bosh out a few boring VTs about the 'world's biggest vase', especially when they're only in studio one day a week?

I've got three! (Blue, Silver and Green) that I won legitimately plus an old-style competition winners badge that I found at a car boot sale once in amongst a tin of various badges. Very Happy

Hasn't that always been the case though - it's the show parents have wanted their kids to watch rather than kids wanting to watch themselves.

I'd be interested to see a link to research on this subject.
