And it appeared before OK !TV yesterday. I only caught the end of it, and it was the first time that I had seen it. I wonder if the police car/chase ident will be used for CSI & the like or for films. If for films, I'm guessing it will air before hancock premiere on Sunday.

I like that one. Very stylish. As much as I miss the previous set of Five idents, I think that having generic instead of programme specific idents increase their longevity.

I imagine that they will increase the idents, to fit in with more types of programmes using the foo fighters' screen, such as sport, daytime/lifestyle or using it as a cinema screen (suprised they haven't done this already, though maybe the idea is a bit simple).

I hope not, that'll be really distracting. Worse still if they make it multi-coloured, like the CBeebies DOG is animated and multi-coloured.

Children like bright colours, that's why everything on CBeebies is multi coloured - aimed at the target audience.

Oh... wow. Green on black does nothing for that unbalanced logo.

That star looks terrible.

I have to agree; the logo for 5* or 5Star or whatever just doesn't look right. It's probably the merged circles; it is all too familiar of some of the content of Desmond's rags and mags!

And its not as if its hard to do, I mean its an auto shape for god sake.

The Fiver breakflash has changed again, now it starts at "Fiver" with the star and wipes to form the 5star logo.
