You can add to the list of logo errors that the letters are too big for the boxes too.

Dear God - have they not read the BBC Logo branding guidelines (I know they are largely irrelevant these days)

The B B C logo should never be seen like that. If it is to run vertically it should be rotated as a whole, not by rotating the individual letters.

How come there is a BBC logo looking just like that at the entrance to Television Centre in London then? lol

And that there are no gaps... and that they are not transparent.

You wouldn't be able to see them if they were transparent.

You're right... I should have specified the letters being transparent.

Since 1997 the BBC sites have had "BBC" in black on white squares, it's just on screen guidelines.

I know... and I know technically it would be more difficult/expensive to make. However, we're talking in terms of the guidelines following noggin's earlier post.

However, those light boxes do in fact look awful for all the reasons mentioned, and the BBC logo on the BBC Scotland looks dreadful, as we're talking about it, with its black letters.

Yes, although it lights white at night (not the boxes, 'BBC Scotland')

Nothing beats BBC Bristol.

There was an interesting report on tonight's Spotlight describing former 'Westcountry Tonight' presenter Alexis Bowater's experience of being stalked.

The full report is shown during tonight's 'Inside Out' at 7:30pm on BBC One South West (Sky 987/Freesat 962 - for those not in the region).

Have Points West actually said why they have been in 'the lobby' for over a week now?
