Well, my first post on the new look, and overall, I like it. I agree with a lot of what has been said. The darker blue and red is much better.
I have 2 comments that have not been made though.
1. I miss the animation on the straps (the slight rotation of the strap). The new ones sliding in just look like they were done on powerpoint.
2. Overall, the music is good, but it never gets anywhere. With the old music, at least it got to a tune eventually.
This one never gets past a headline bed-type repetitive rhythm.
Great to see an international report in HD from Amanda Walker in Moscow. Understandably, there was lot of Russian TV SD footage of the parade mixed into it.
Glad to see some in the media are supporting Sky against the OTT biased claims. From the Ed Fraser, Senior Programme Editor, Channel 4 News/Online on his Twitter.
@Circus21 In her defence Kay Burley is one of the best news current affairs broadcasters British TV has - at least she's not a dullard ..U and I could have a whole discussion on News, TV , what the audience wants, what it needs and where TV news is going - but ......it would take a few months at 140 characters a time . I know she cares greatly about what she does, and will take reaction on board but ....I do have to point out - a lot of folk won't see the problem u do and will say he had his say - she was there to put the other side .

Unfortunately more often than not the media tends to protect it's own, unless it's the BBC.
