OK, I'm confused... dot com!

Andrew Pate did the news again this evening, but he was in the studio... still as teal as before!

I don't know what they did, but I don't know if they will be launching the yellow peril or what soon. Confused

This happened with the westcountry bulletines. Work was done over the weekends but it never launched until Tuesday. I also think that Meridian used a different studio because there was a difference in the pannels so it could be thjey were using former SE one. Also could be that the studio can be changed to yellow at a flick of a switch. ITV Central studios turned yellow for one night only for the peoples millions a few years back.

With Calendar they should make both studios back into one again. Have one large Calendar studio again

To what end? You would still have the same set, but just in a larger studio.

It wouldn't look any different on screen.

I reckon he means the extra plasma screen that Yorkshire had when the generic set was first installed in Leeds.

It's not just the lighting colour that's changing, though. There's the desk, the floor colour, the benches and the little lights around the edge of the floor facing upwards.

Sangeeta confirmed ITV Meridian will be "going yellow" tomorrow. So I guess it's finally arriving in the South and South East. Wonder when ITV London will be going over.

Loved how Nia Mason (who?) got cut off at the end. I'll have video and screenshots shortly.

Only a minor point. but the yellow opening titles for Calendar News bulletins just say 'Calendar', the old titles (and indeed every set of bulletin opening titles since the introduction of time) have always said 'Calendar News'
