The previous' version' was excellent doubt if it will ever grow to that standard again. Btw what is annoying is that there seems to be some form of DRM protection for downloading the flash streams so replay catcher and for example WM recorder don't work Shocked Good 'ol ITV Mad

who was introduced as ''our met office forecaster'' abit different to the usual perky parkin simon parkin! Also on the Meridian bulletin at 8.10am this morning during GMTV the backdrop was pitch black...I had to laugh!

Hmm Fred has'nt thought of a nickname for her yet it seems, blonde hair and a yellow background all looks good to me !

Somebody else we don't see doing the late news anymore is Glen Thomsett. I used to enjoy his sign-off when he swept his pen through the last page of his script.
Pity, I do miss the south east crew of Glen, David Glencourse, Ian McLaren,Ian McBride and the others, seems they've really lost the edge now.

No itr's true though very little authoritativeness now with any of them, even Gemma was very professional, have I said this before ?... Oh yes Laughing

Tt was a great team once, the SE version was really spoilt with those out and abouts, must have cost a fair bit, so many of them...
