It's a funny old game innit? Saint & Greavsie to make comeback on Setanta on FA Cup Final day...

Good alternative to ITV's coverage by the sounds of it.

They're also unencrypting Setanta for the day.

ITV1's coverage runs from 1pm-5.30pm. Didn't these things used to start in the morning?

Don't know about last year, but in 2007 the BBC's coverage started at 12:30pm. But certainately more during the 1970s and 80s (when there wasn't much Live football on TV remember), the coverage would usually start about 11.00am.

By that you mean that there will be no FTA/FTV content on the channel enticing people to sign up as there is on a normal Premiership day?

Sorry - damn spell check!

Premier League Games - I'm guessing Setanta get third choice?

Aston Villa v Newcastle Utd Sky Sports 1 (15:00-19:00)
Hull City v Manchester Utd Sky Sports 3 (15:55-18:00)
Sunderland v Chelsea Sky Sports Interactive (16:00-18:00)
West Ham Utd v Middlesbrough Setanta Sports 1 (15:45-18:30)

Well they don't normally show ANY Sunday games, so yes, I would assume that as this is the last day, they got the match that was part of the Saturday 5pm package.

Setanta almost certainly had the fourth choice game this weekend, the Sunderland game is far more attractive than the Middlesbrough one.

The welcome return of Hazel Irvine today for the final round of the golf. Puts Lineker to shame IMO. I really can't understand the logic of having Lineker present the 'big' golf events - he adds no prestige, and has nowhere near the knowledge of Irvine.

Irvine is hugely under-rated IMO. No doubt she'll once again be sidelined by Sue Barker for the World Athletics Championship later in the summer.

Sky Sports will be rebranded later this year to fit in with the 'lowercase' brand, which has been speculated on here before. I'll try and post some images up of some of the new branding when I can. Just seen the a few files of the initial brand identity, think sky+!

Sounds interesting, but I think the current look works well. From the files you have seen, are they keeping the red and blue colour scheme and is all the text going to be lowercase?
