A reminder that the French Open rights the BBC have in general are secondary ones, ie not to be shown on main channels. Eurosport hold the primary rights for the UK. The secondary rights can be hidden away on Red button only. The BBC acquire primary rights for Murray's matches as and when. They do not own the rights to any Primary highlight package for the event.

Thanks for that - learn something new every day. I actually thought the BBC held the primary rights, and just didn't choose to use them. Shame they couldn't bid for a highlights package though - the amount of tennis shown on the main BBC channels (Wimbledon excepted) these days, is at a bare minimum. Looks like they've lost the rights to the new-look Eastbourne event as well.
When the graphics came back, the picture started flickering again. So ITV sensibly reverted back just before a crucial free kick. Looks like they don't have a replacement bit of kit on site to fix the issue at present.
You have to laugh at ITV's luck with crucial football games, don't you? I'm loving the idea of someone nervously looking out for the flickers and switching to the second feed before it causes any major problems. Sensible though. Anyone know if the feed is disrupting their HD offerings?
Came back briefly, but starting flickering so gone again. I have to say, although the ITV scorebar is, in my opinion, way too big - I really am missing the clock.

I don't THINK so and believe there is a different feed and score check.
