Interesting debate on the Semi order ... Logic suggests the Nadal v Murray match should be first as they are in the top half of the draw. However this is Wimbledon.

The Women's semis have the bottom-half match first tomorrow.

There is no logic in that logic. If it were the case surely Nadal and Murray would have both been on first today - but both were indeed on second.

Completely off-topic, but it's about as logical as the Crucible Theatre having its tables arranged

Usual protocol sees the higher ranked seed awarded the longer preparation time for the final of a championship, Nadal as no 1 seed in the top half of the draw would normally be on court first on a semi, if this precedent was to be followed.

If you were up early enough this morning, you might have spotted some tests on the BBC HD channel...

I've now posted some video over on the HD thread.

Looking from above, with baulkline at 12 o'clock, and indeed from the back of the arena, as the players walk out on stage.

At last - whether it's a high or low cost, no other broadcaster would really have been that interested. And you never know, with Eurovision seemingly out of the picture for the 2014/2016 Olympics, the Glasgow Games could be the last major Games on the BBC for a while.

So its Nadal v Murray today . . . if Djokovic v Tsonga is a one-sided encounter, we could see the big match on court as early as 3.30pm.

Gosh, I really am rather excited . . .

So the correct way around from the audience's perspective.
