**PROGRESS UPDATE (11.10.0

**
The revamped SchoolsTV section has been in development on and off for at least two years. There will be in excess of 200 new pages and will undoubtedly become the UK's largest historic internet database on this unique British television service. Here's an oversight of what's planned...
BBC SCHOOLS
Simon and myself will update with more videos. It will also get a bit of a tidy up. Planned for early 2009
ITV for SCHOOLS & COLLEGES
I have complete schedules dating back to the early 1980s (planned to go online mid 2009). There will also be enhancements to the audio archive with the introduction of Flash samples in place of Real Media. The slides section will be tidied up and updated along with some corrections to navigation.
ITV SCHOOLS on CHANNEL 4/S4C
Over 150 new pages are planned with the most detailed programme information ever made publically available. Major upgrades to video and audio with the most detailed background information to date on the creation of the ITV Schools on Channel 4 "rotomotion" and "clock". Instead of vast swathes of continuity clips, which you can get anywhere, we will be different.
Along with some classic VHS/Betamax jittery videos, expect full and high quality videos from the (Betacam) broadcast master tapes! There are also plans to add more information from the people responsible for it all. More information is also available on pre-schools continuity. In 2009 I return to a project started in 2004. I'll take you on a guided tour in creating the animation in a new 3D reconstruction section. I'll show you how you can try it using free 3D software.
Guarantee and good read! I aim to have this online by the end of 2008.
CHANNEL 4 SCHOOLS ONWARD
A tidy up will be undertaken and enhancement of audio and video. Planned for end 2008.
While I plan to blitz this revamp for end 2008 it may run into early 2009. Please bear with us. In our opinion the wait will be worth it.
