I downloaded some of the Weather clips when they were first put up but since yesterday I've been unable to download anything at all from TV Ark.

Same here, quite a shame as I was looking to download some of the ITV national weather clips. Anyone know what the problem is?

...and it appears the 'problem' has been solved; nice to see such classic (and particularly nostalgic) clips on there.

Anyone fancy taking a peek at ITV in the South ahead of time?

A Peek at the Beta Version of ITV South on TVARK.

Note the dates below the images. BTW, the link on the ITV page links to the "Under Construction" page. TVS appears to be most complete page, as the idents page is ready, complete with descriptions. Neither Southern nor Meridian has them both.

Cheeky Wink You'll just have to wait a bit longer though. TV Ark's birthday is coming up next month, would be nice to get those pages back online in time.

Couldn't resist it. Figured people might as well know how well the restoration process is going. No harm intended, TVARK Exclamation . (If the link causes offence to anyone at TVARK, let me know and I'll remove the link, apologise and give myself a stern talking to).

Channel Television (I can't call it "ITV Channel", it just sounds weird) has returned.

**PROGRESS UPDATE (11.10.0Cool**

The revamped SchoolsTV section has been in development on and off for at least two years. There will be in excess of 200 new pages and will undoubtedly become the UK's largest historic internet database on this unique British television service. Here's an oversight of what's planned...

BBC SCHOOLS
Simon and myself will update with more videos. It will also get a bit of a tidy up. Planned for early 2009

ITV for SCHOOLS & COLLEGES
I have complete schedules dating back to the early 1980s (planned to go online mid 2009). There will also be enhancements to the audio archive with the introduction of Flash samples in place of Real Media. The slides section will be tidied up and updated along with some corrections to navigation.

ITV SCHOOLS on CHANNEL 4/S4C
Over 150 new pages are planned with the most detailed programme information ever made publically available. Major upgrades to video and audio with the most detailed background information to date on the creation of the ITV Schools on Channel 4 "rotomotion" and "clock". Instead of vast swathes of continuity clips, which you can get anywhere, we will be different.

Along with some classic VHS/Betamax jittery videos, expect full and high quality videos from the (Betacam) broadcast master tapes! There are also plans to add more information from the people responsible for it all. More information is also available on pre-schools continuity. In 2009 I return to a project started in 2004. I'll take you on a guided tour in creating the animation in a new 3D reconstruction section. I'll show you how you can try it using free 3D software.

Guarantee and good read! I aim to have this online by the end of 2008.

CHANNEL 4 SCHOOLS ONWARD
A tidy up will be undertaken and enhancement of audio and video. Planned for end 2008.

While I plan to blitz this revamp for end 2008 it may run into early 2009. Please bear with us. In our opinion the wait will be worth it.

Bugged them until they would do it... not really. Most of them have visited and contacted the website in the past.
