No, it was Shuttleworth House in Stamp End that was evacuated.

I'm keeping my eye on the level of water in Sincil Dyke. It's about a foot away from overflowing into the path of my house.

A good comprehensive round-up of the floods and the aftermath today on Look North with a wide use of presenters and reporters across the region. It was nice to see a use of special grpahics as well with the use of 'The Great Flood' making it sound a lot more dramatic and providing extra emphasis.

One question about Paul Hudson's parts on the programme - were they pre-recorded bar his forecast at the end? I say that because the parts sounded quite rehearsed, there was no acknowledgement of Christa passing over and it would have clashed with the forecast with Look North Hull.

I dread to think how Look Levy covered / would have covered this.

I'm wondering how much of LN Leeds was pre recorded, do they really have 3 OB units and facilities to downlink them all simultaneously? Although I guess there will have been kit there for network that they could have borrowed...

awww that coat reminds me of the one sue beardsmore wore when she stood in the middle of the river severn back in 2001ish for a special *live* midlands report on bbc two midlands. (note how sue presented whilst carrying her handbag)

Don't forget you can watch it online!

LNH's main OB was in Lincoln College where evacuees from Shuttleworth House has been put. Levy was in front of a wall reading "Floods: Day 2". There was a brief mention at the end of Quentin Davies switching party.

I'm watching Look North on News24 now impressive programme so far, human interest, information, political reaction, pictures.

Is this going out on BBC One in Yorkshire now (2230)?

Well done.

Yes, this is going out on BBC One in Yorkshire now. Well, definitely Look North (Leeds) - I don't know about Look North (Hull).

BBC One Yorkshire have just gone into 'Children with Cancer', with a local continuity (I recognised the voice, one of the women who sometimes does Look North breakfast) and a BBC One Yorkshire ident, about 25-30 minutes behind the network.

Does that mean that Leeds is going to be in control until News 24 at 4.30? I suppose they could drop See Hear to catch up with that 30 minute gap.
