Well that's just great, Hull only went into Tier 2 today, and now it'll be Tier 4 tomorrow? Why even bother changing regional tiers in the last few days if they were planning a national lockdown anyway? Mad

According to Robert Peston it's done as Tier 4 because when it's over they can unlock different areas according to infection rates. For example, Cornwall could go down to tier 2 whereas Manchester could stay at 4

ITV News just has a 10 minute scheduled bulletin at 7pm after the rugby, then 20 minutes at 11.30pm. Neither ideal really - would be wise for them to replace the 45 minute Catchphrase at 7.15pm with a half hour show at 7.30pm.

And there is now a half hour news special replacing catchphrase with in a penny now at 7 30

Pretty poor from itv tbh, considering the country is going into lockdown you’d think they would have at least a 30 minute bulletin after it’s announced officially.

There is now a 30 minute bulletin at 7:00

Our Prime Minister has neither a degree in a dead language nor a science degree.

I can only actually think of one PM in my lifetime who had a science degree ?

The only PM ever to have a science degree.

Unless you count the Metallurgy degrees of Stanley Baldwin and Neville Chamberlain.

Coronavirus News Special now scheduled for 4.30 on BBC 1 followed by a half hour News bulletin at 6 and the usual 10 minute regional bulletin at 6.30. “Little Mix The Search” seems to have been dropped.

Apparently this week's episode now moved to Friday next week per Scott Bryan on Twitter.
Fair to say LMTS hasn't had the best run - horrible ratings, shows cancelled due to positive COVID tests and now the penultimate edition being postponed (or in Daily Express speak 'AXED')

We've known that since March...

Presumably it's been so rushed this afternoon that they've just realised that they haven't done x or informed y

Do you think this news special to be abandoned or will Reeta continue to fill for 2 hours!
