I have always been annoyed how the 'LIVE' and 'NEW' DOG's boxes are not the same width as the CBBC logo's box.

Why are you asking exactly? If I remember correctly, it was only on for about 18 months.

I really don't know, it just randomly came to my head.

I don't know whether this is a mistake or not (I'm assuming it is not as it applies from 12th June, which is next Friday), but from next week, Blue Peter will be repeated the Friday after broadcast at 5pm on CBeebies.
Funnily enough, Blue Peter is starting a series of programmes about earning all the badges, and the target audience of CBeebies (0-5) are not old enough to earn a badge yet.
This also now means that Blue Peter is now repeated four times throughout the week, 5pm on Friday on CBeebies, 8am on Saturday on BBC Two, 9am on Sunday on CBBC and 2.15pm on Tuesday on CBBC (Signed).

Remember when they simulcast the Christmas episode last year? It got "mixed" feedback...not sure what the thinking is here.
Makes sense to repeat it throughout the week though. Unlike most CBBC programmes these days it doesn't really have long term potential after that initial period of broadcast, and it's undoubtedly expensive so they want to make the most of it.

There has been a new series of Waffle on recently
Not surprised it does well, it's very good. I do wonder if Rufus Hound got the gig because of his name
