The BBC should just make the black BBC News bar above the flipper wipe down during the headlines and keep the white flipper box on before returning the black box after the quarter headlines.

Looks like whatever the bad feed issue was is resolved as of the Hugh Pym report, but still no clue as to why they are playing back a recording (also the ticker being removed is most likely for the benefit of World News, so they don’t see a clock, as they are just taking the NC feed most likely)

Technical issues in Gallery C, emergency surgery currently underway!

There’s two versions when they show bulletins the flipper is generated at NBH when it shows programmes it comes from Red Bee you can tell as the Red Bee version it’s more transparent.

Did World take the pre recorded News Channel or did Red Bee sustain with something else? I thought there were issues with UK sports bulletins going out on World for rights reasons?

They were showing the recorded bbc world news bulletin with a grey recorded strap over the top, at least it was in Reith, the news channel clearly haven’t bothered updating theres.

Is the RedBee one solely on world or goes out domestically? I assume the red bee would be used on the prerecorded back half hour programs on WN.

Red Bee have no involvement with the distribution of the domestic News Channel.
