Very late for the 7am TOTH with titles rolling at around 7:03! They decided to begin an interview at 6:58 which was why they went over!

What is it with GMB and timing? If the BBC can manage to start at :59 every hour, every morning then surely ITV can do so as well.

They did have to cut the interview with Bros short and asked them if they could return at 8am.

They don't. There is absolutely no rule in breakfast television that a part must begin exactly at the top or bottom of the hour.

I'm usually rather picky about time, but I'm not that bothered with GMB. Sometimes, I like that fact that it is sometimes a bit late. If I get out of bed at :30, I still have a chance to see all the headlines. Unlike on Breakfast when I'd likely have missed the top story.

The Big Breakfast used to over run so much the camera would be panning away from Johnny/Denise/Liza while they were still telling you what's on the show tomorrow.

I don't think GMB has hit 20% since day one.

On a different note, don't think it was mentioned on here, but on Tuesday morning at the 7am TOTH there was a minor technical issue, and Piers could be heard saying "can we just get a grip?". Would love to have known what that was all about!

I'd think it would have to be on the highest. The following is from searching through DS Forums

April 22nd 2014
Daybreak - 706k

April 28th 2014 (Launch)
Good Morning Britain - 800k (20.3%)

I noticed that as well - there wasn't a weather forecast before the 7am TOTH so I take it they were meant to go to weather straight from break into the TOTH?
