Slightly copying how they introduce the panels on Play to the Whistle every week.

Who'd have thought anybody would copy Play to the Whistle?

This is a parody of sports programming, it would require them to watch Play to The Whilste in order for it to be copying that.

Other than folding their arms, which even only some of them do on Play to the Whistle, there is no comparison.

If you remember when the BBC extended their Premier League highlights rights for Match of the Day they announced they were going to launch a new magazine show and the Daily Mirror is now reporting that Gary Lineker's production company Goalhanger Films is going to co-produce the new show alongside BBC Sport. The new programme which is set to be called The Premier League Show which is set to go out at 10pm on Thursday Night on BBC2 hosted by Gabby Logan.

Seems like a backdoor way to keep Lineker happy financially without upsetting the Daily Mail by offering him a pay rise for his presenting duty.

I noticed it a lot more later on today, it's a very bizarre sound really, like a woman opening a can of coke then having an orgasm, woner what made them choose it.

BT Sport Europe are showing the Turkish Cup Final tomorrow evening (Galatasaray v Fenerbahçe) - they've not previously shown any Turkish domestic football.

It's not great news for football fans, because I know of no reason why any football fan would subscribe to Premier Sports outside of Ireland.

After Cricket went to 'Sky Sports' lower case corporate font look, another sport has been dragged back into the fold.
European Tour Golf coverage now has the same.

Rain has affected broadcasters at Roland Garros. While ITV have stayed on air, Tennis Channel in the US were forced off air while showing a replay of one match that was being played out from RG and therefore replaced it with a replay of another, and say they are still unable to broadcast from RG. It's causing problems with Eurosport too.

I think there is a problem with pictures from the courts, and ITV haven't mentioned anything yet but 5 minutes ago Jim Courier was on his way to the commentary box but now he's back in the studio again.

Matches have resumed. Eurosport have no pictures. ITV have got access to one camera position on the main court. I'll grab a picture shortly.

There is no sound on this camera position apparently so all of the sound from the court is via the commentary box.
