Since the referundum, GMB is more newsy and that's great!

They've done a news review each day this week with Andrew Pierce and Kevin McGuire. It's been a bit of a more discussion style humorous segment as yesterday they discussed Cameron's song quite extensively.

Some people may not want to have this conversation but what sort of changes do you reckon the programme will receive in September? Seeing as Anoilyrag has hinted to us.

Graphics update, possible new music to with this hard news with human interest twist the show has had recently. Don't expect anything major.

Sadly yes. It is interesting, but not that interesting.

Usual excitement every day throughout August as the kids spend their school holidays waiting for September.

Then the usual disappointment when nothing changes or what does change are not perceived to be the right changes!

Good call getting Piers in tomorrow. If they're lucky they may have news on Jeremy Hunt and other sackings/appointments breaking.

Interesting to note that Nick Dixon was live from Downing Street this morning as well as Charlotte Hawkins live from Buckingham Palace, reporting on the top story of David Cameron resigning and Theresa May becoming PM. Whereas, Clodagh was in Westminster for a 30 second live link to talk about the labour leadership contest (second story) despite her being the Political Correspondent. What is going on? And more importantly, why aren't GMB making efficient use of their team?

Well Charlotte and Nick are good out in the field and Clodagh hasn't really shown her proffesion on Air. Was she even part of the EU special?

I don't think she was. She's been very poor, messing up pretty much every day and seemingly unable to get through a link without a hesitation.

This is exactly what I mean. Why did GMB employ her as Political Correspondent then? They didn't give her a trial, unlike Paul Brand who was very good in the role, trialled but then hasn't been seen since Clodagh joined the team.
