Good Morning Britain - 2015 Refresh/Tweaks

"changes coming September" Jason, do indulge me on which expectations have been set for you?

So Eamonn Holmes is leaving Sky News... he says he can't commit to being in the studio on a daily basis. I think he would work well, however, on a Thursday and Friday with Charlotte Hawkins on GMB. At least then, all the main presenters will have some sort of journalistic background.

If Ben was to leave then I think Eamonn and Mark Austin would be the two candidates top of the list to replace him.


If you remember when Piers joined last year there was that half hearted revamp when they changed to 16:9 and introduced that Breaking News wipe which was dropped about 2 hours into the program.

Good Morning Britian has lasted a lot longer than any incarnation of Daybreak, over 2 years into the launch of daybreak it was unrecognisable from launch, I seem to remember almost (what felt like) weekly set changes. GMB is a much better show imo, and I'm surprised that ITV have 'left it be' so to speak, and haven't axed any presenters or dramatically changed the set. However, come Monday there will probably be an un needed (imo) set refresh/ change.

Those colours aren't anything new; they are part of the original branding. Just not often seen.

I personally think that there will be a few pointless small changes, which will later be reversed.
