You think? I thought she got the best out of it - from presenting regional news to presenting the national news on the biggest commercial channel in the country within a couple of years.
One person who has lost out greatly in terms of GMB at least is Ranvir, going from daily main news hour presenter with Matt to secondary newsreader. Her and Matt were the best things about Their era of Daybreak IMO.

And her own show Real Stories has been recommissioned.

I agree - axing Daybreak was the best thing to ever happen for her. She's had a far more prominent role on Good Morning Britain and established herself as a regular stand-in on ITV News. Indeed she might just be the only ITV breakfast regular to go on to present News at Ten.
Charlotte is probably the biggest loser with this latest change - she was very clearly Susanna's stand-in at the beginning and more than just a newsreader. Now she's just a newsreader and certainly 3rd, if not 4th behind Ranvir, choice now when it comes to fronting the show. For me with Piers coming in there is no reason at all to continue employing Kate - Charlotte and Ranvir would provide more than adequate cover.

GMB/Daybreak previously has bred a couple of presenters with the potential to make the step to the national news. I thought Matt Barbet would have made an excellent permanent presenter on the ITV Lunchtime News (when Alastair was on the Evening News). Ranvir is also a great fill-in.
Charlotte and, to an extent, Susanna would probably be good too - although where they'd fit is another question.

Richard Gaisford doing a sterling job live in St Denis, Paris this morning in very trying circumstances. Explosions and gunfire heard live on air while he was reporting five-ten minutes ago and continuing with coverage now. Genuinely gripping live coverage of yet more terrifying events.

The large majority of this morning's programme was rolling news, and once again they did a very good job. Competition promos were few and far between, they also managed to keep up with the overnight breaking sport news and the day's other top stories - the only thing that seemed a bit jarring was still having the entertainment news.
Up until that point the return from every break had been something along the lines of 'welcome back, we're following breaking news, let's go live to Paris...', but for the entertainment news we instead got that upbeat dance-type music and Richard Arnold walking us through previous winners of 'Sexiest Man alive'! I suppose they don't want to alienate their existing audience, but perhaps today they could have subdued the tone of that particular segment slightly today - it does seem a bit odd watching them laugh their way through five minutes of entertainment news whilst 'explosions heard in Paris' is scrolling along the ticker, only for the tone to return to being serious again a few minutes later.
