Daybreak relaunch with Lorraine and Aled

Slightly closer to the daybreak set compared to a pic a few dats ago a but further down.

I would of walked straight in and took it. Probably just did it while passing or descretly.

Is that sofa available to buy? I genuinely want it now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it pop's up on another show, the old red Daybreak sofa was used on Saturday Night Takeaway in the "green room"

Points West should have held out and got a decent second hand TV sofa rather than splashing out £12000 on a new one (according to reports today).

To be fair I did like version 3 of Daybreak, maybe because it was more like GMTV but lets see how Monday goes.

Andrew (the one who posted pic) said that he doesn't know where any of the stuff has gone. He said it will probably be up-cycled.

A good quality TV sofa is not a cheap purchase. They are usually custom builds from bespoke furniture manufacturers. You can't buy decent on-screen sofas at DFS or Ikea. That's why they usually last a reasonably long period of time on screen.

I saw a website where you could buy sofas used on Daybreak.

They also had these really nice Liquorice Allsorts chairs. Maybe for the next relaunch eh?

I don't know where to put this, but having watched Weekend this morning with Aled, I felt like whilst the show was a really nice Idea, and the set worked well too, I didn't think Aled was comfortable, and hate to say it, but the show would do better with another presenter! :/
