Love that.

Has the John Lewis ad aired on TV yet?

TV debut tonight I heard. Celeste is singing her song from the advert on The Voice tonight so that may be a segue into the advert.

Yes, just debuted during The Voice.

This might be old school, but I feel it'd be much more of a shared event if it launched on the TV, in the middle of a high rating programme (such as at 9:15pm tomorrow)

Rather than appearing online, people watching it in their own time, some have seen it, some haven't, and then it appearing for the first time on TV in a relatively low rating programme

Bit of a dig at Aldi there. Poor Kevin!

Also, Aldi and John Lewis have both ended up with animated hedgehogs. What are the odds?

Here’s the Lidl Northern Ireland Christmas advert, they’ve gone with a different one from GB:

Both Lidl adverts are very strong, as are many this year, which is surprising in a pandemic.

If only they could agree on how the company is called. In NI it is spoken as “Lee-dill” whilst in Britain it’s pronounced “Lid ill”
