BBC One Christmas 2011

I'm not sure where to post this but it's BBC so I'll go here. BBC Entertainment has some nice holiday idents with balloons. Only found this one on YT to show you.

I've noticed BBC1 Wales has finally joined NI in using the quiet news ident this evening - don't know how long this has been going on or if the other nations have done the same, but from what I've seen Wales has otherwise been using the wholly inappropriate Network version.

Despite knowing better, I still momentarily wonder, when I read things like this, where people are getting all the smutty versions of idents.

So will bbc1 stick with their christmas idents for New Years Day? The trailer endboards for programmes on this day would appear to suggest they probably will do just that, then back to normal on January 2nd.

Likewise BBC2 at 6.30... yay.

Not long then till Christmas 2012. Do we think they might "reset" the date and launch ident on the 15th December, or follow the pattern of getting ever earlier and launch them on Saturday 8th December.

The trailer for The Royal Bodyguard is still using the christmas jumper endboard, even though everything else is back to normal.
