I have to say that the BBC One ident this year looks wonderful. Can't wait to see it in action. Just beat me to it Silly Tilly!! Very Happy

I love that ident and think it's the best of the Christmas balloon ones. The thing is when you watched the trailers you got no indication of what the ident would look like. It was a wonderful surprise.

Now for those of you that said that there wouldn't be a Doctor Who Christams ident, it wouldn't have real reindeer and wouldn't feel Christmassey what do you think of the finished product?

The one at the beginning could be I guess; difficult to tell at low resolution, gut instinct says CGI.

Couldn't care less myself, fantastic ident. The music makes it.

But then again other channels have given the same warning during programmes for years... it's just the beeb don't have any advert break to put it in!

Yeah I couldn't care less which ones are real or not but the end result is wonderful. When this is onscreen Christmas has truly arrived!!

But at least we did get at least one real reindeer! Very Happy

Ooh that's actually MUCH better than I imagined it would be. The soundtrack after the form up is really good. I presume there will be a few variations of it.

And nice to see they've gone for a proper formup, not these nasty cut versions. iPlayer on Virgin still has the proper bikes ident and it looks so much superior to the cuts they have now.

A night-time version would be awesome but they don't seem very on the ball in doing this type of thing any more.
