Wales, on the other hand, did not show the trail.

So according to Duncan, BBC1 are "lighting up the Christmas tree" next Saturday. A Christmas tree ident then?
An enjoyable nostalgic promo before Atlantis, nice to see these old idents on the big screen again after all these years. Must be a first though- BBC1 showing their first Christmas trail consisting entirely of clips of past triumphs and no footage of this year's shows.

Amazing!
I loved that Smokey globe but I REALLY loved the '1' and wished they used it for a main ident like the '2'.

It was nice to see old "symbols" (as they were called back in those days), and I am looking forward to seeing this year's effort. Slightly, and only slightly, disappointed we have to wait until next Saturday to see a proper trail. By BBC1 recent standards that's really late!
