I suspect the remainder of the show will be live. For those not watching there is to be a live wedding at the end of the show, and the delay was due to surprising the wedding guests (and presumably in case of any swearing).

I thought it was because TLS (ITV Studios London) was still recovering from the fire.

Even though it was quite clearly that explained in the programme. Rolling Eyes

Also someone who believes the tabloids and their nonsense who said that "fire ripped through the studios"

No, I thought it was that before they told us why.

During Mark Hamill's link before the last break, I think the audio from the gallery was faded up by mistake as I could hear the count into the break briefly

It would be hilarious if the bride or groom decided a change of heart and said no live on air I wonder how they would handle a moment like that?

Well they've just mentioned that all of the legal stuff was done earlier today, so presumably as such they're already married.

So the 'Live Wedding' is actually not a real wedding. They were legally married earlier on today. So the point of this 'Live Wedding' is.....?

Because it's fun? Because it makes for good Saturday night TV? Because most people will enjoy it for what it is?

Presumably the same as the people who partake in non-binding ceremonies and then do the legal bit later.

They are now using the old-style ITV credits

I think I know who shot Simon Cowell. It was the fit one from Silent Witness. She ducked down among a large crowd of people so the CCTV wouldn't spot her, shot Simon then ran round through a back door to the front so she could come in with the fit one from Lewis to make it seem like it couldn't be her and arrest Ant and Dec*.

*Of course, Ant and Dec escaped while they talked to the press.

The couple wanted to do it in the first place, but since they couldn't legally have the ceremony at ITV Studios (I wouldn't think it's a registered building for civil marriages.) They instead just held the fake wedding, plus I believe that Ant & Dec stated they had organized the wedding with the couple anyway.
