Oh for Goodness' bloody sake - quit with this tired routine!

That's rich, Katherine.

Don't really care - he's pedalling inaccurate nonsense and is being excessively and absurdly negative towards a bunch of people who have tried in good faith (and made a good effort) to find a solution to East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire's under-representation on the old regional format.

Some fair points Katherine; but in the interests of balance, one must accept that your POSITIVE comments and reviews will be met with NEGATIVE comments in equal measure. I'm sure Peter can take it on the chin.

Hardly a case to demand someone "quits" their "routine". Routines are what life is all about. You will understand that better than most.

Tonight's Calendar was again dominated by the Yorkshire Bombers story. This means that coverage from the Great Yorkshire Show has been completely abandoned for the 2005 show. There was however a round-up of the rest of the day's news from your part of the Calendar region

Over on BBC ONE, Look North was presented by..

Did they really tell everyone it's tomorrow? That'll not get them many viewers.

None of my routines end up in wildly inaccurate, exaggerated and erroneous misrepresentation of programming content though.

No that's a capture from yesterday.

The programme so far has gone a bit wrong, the OB with Len Tingle had no sound. It's as if Len Tingle and OBs don't mix!

How long is this supposed to last for? 30 mins?

Bit OTT in my opinion, the national news has covered it for the past few days, the regional news has done the same so why the need for another programme giving basically the same facts? Confused

I take it this programme is not worthy of a wider airing to the Belmont area then ?

Well the intro said "This is the BBC in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire", as did the BBC1 logo they showes, so someone thought it was.

so Hull hadn't bothered to tell Leeds whether they were taking it/hadn't made up their minds, so they played it safe?

As far as the BBC are concerned they might as well bring back Humberside, as they seem to have taken East Yorkshire out of Yorkshire

I assume the 8pm special that went out on BBC 1 Yorkshire is the same as the one currently going out nationally on News 24?
