Look East are the opposite to that picture they look from the other angle as the weather & Sport is presented (as you look at the desk) to the right side. Reports are presented by the closer left side.
I thought the Look East desk was in the middle of the studio, which due to space constraints, ended up trapesium shaped rather than rectanglar like all the other studios.

Yes, I've looked around the set in Norwich and its tiny for such a modern studio (only been open for 5-6 years). I can't understand why the studio was so squashed in - compared to Points West.
Well from the look of that studio, the side angles will be coming from the red side of the desk anyway, so perhaps it will look better - it is unusual though, most BBC News studios have the side angle from the direction we see in the picture

Well lets hope after all this waiting it looks better than the BBC London news set on air, is broadcast from a broom cupboard? There is no depth to the newswoorm behind and it feels like the people being interviewed had their backs against the wall with a camera in their face!
