I always wondered how does this work with some of these broadcasts. We discussed it with the annual Christmas message. Perhaps ITV recorded the message and is playing it out live?
The audio was made available on IRN at 8:25pm, although the duration was known at around 8pm. They decided not to broadcast it on IRN1/2 but to send the raw audio instead. It was chilling hearing it even 4 minutes before it went out.
ITV seems to be ahead of all other broadcasters

They will fence off the clothing bit I expect.
It’s a funny one as of course you can buy many things that aren’t food at supermarkets, but if you only sell those other things then you can’t open.

Someone has just asked me if Marks % Spencer will stay open or close. Interesting as it has a food hall but is mainly clothing. I have no answer to that.

Is it? He's just asking a load of people who are sat at home on their sofas watching TV to continue doing the same. It's hardly the same as Chamberlain declaring war on Germany!
It's an absolutely stunning Prime Ministerial address to the UK. No doubt about that.

And continue to do the same for 3 weeks and not go out. That’s pretty stunning to me.
