CNN Domestic have dropped the 2nd hour of Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin and are taking Hala's 'The World Right Now..

This will only be a temporary measure due to CNN Domestic relocating all shows to New York.

Kiran Chetry, who used to present American Morning on CNN US until 2011, made a surprise return this morning on CNN International.

CNN Center Atlanta Domestic Studios officially closed. This the first week all weekday programming comes from elsewhere. CNN NewsRoom recreated Atlanta studio backdrop on the monitor array in CNN Money set. UGH LAME

UGH the Headline News Intro is even sadder. (Start at 1:20 ) (96,915 broadcasts back in 1987 amazing.)

They aren't closed. HLN will be getting the current CNN/US studio and CNN/US the current HLN studio for their residual Atlanta weekend programming

As a result of domestic moving all to NY, Maggie Lake can no longer do WBT from that nice CNN Money set which is used by Carol Costello at the same time. Maggie is back to the flash set.

I know this. Obviously CNN Center is not actually closed, all the news gathering takes place. But symbolically on air its done. CNN Domestic as it used to exist from CNN Center IMO is now basically closed for business. You wont be hearing an anchor proudly declare "From CNN Center in Atlanta this is......" anytime soon. That is done. HLN is something else. A joke and completely a mess is how I would describe it. End the channel and put it out of its misery. CNN Domestic Weekday is done and over in Atlanta. Now they will prob share Studio 7 with HLN's mess for few hours on the weekend. Sad end to a major broadcasting facility and historic building. (I know its not that same thing, but I sorta liken it to the closure of Television Centre. Even though still CNN owns CNN Center you wouldnt know if anymore on air in the US. Most Americans dont get CNNi.)
