It's WBR in everything but open, music and graphics.

I don’t understand someone on here said WBR was coming back and on the EPG it said that but it’s still bbc news like it has been over this dreadful pandemic, can’t they just click the switch to blue and show the good old WBR titles.

Has the 10am simulcast finally finished?
I know we're trying to avoid rota discussion but the main reason I ask is that appears from a few things on twitter than Karin G was on air immediately after Sally Bundock this morning when for the past several months Sally has been on until the simulcast hour(s).

Yeah 10am simulcast is gone now, now it’s like the pre pandemic days except it’s just bbc world news all day and all night long

Does Outside Source actually know what font it wants to use? I thought the fonts looked slightly odd and it appears they are different.

Apologies for the poor quality, they were done off the hoof from the mobile iPlayer site.

Both versions are horrid anyway, as is the whole graphics package.

Sorry.

I do seem to have a lot of curiosity for this one here. How come has OS still been able to air throughout even with the simplified schedule with fewer 'unique' branded shows with many of them currently not airing (i.e The Briefing, Worklife, Global, Impact, etc.) yet OS is an exception?

The question that yet remains to be answered is, how come has OS still been able to air throughout even with the simplified schedule with fewer 'unique' branded shows on-air yet OS is an exception?

Presumably because, as we are always told, PBS in the US buys the OS format to air on weekdays, even though many of us fail to see why.

I could be wrong in saying but I think Outside Source is shown on PBS in the USA. WETA which is one of the PBS affiliates has it in their schedule.

Yes, some of the PBS member stations do clear OS. WETA is the distributor of BBC World/News programming across the member stations.
