Considering the News Channel is generally completely desk-based, I wouldn't be surprised if they wear trainers etc. under there.

In the early days of News 24, when there was a sofa set, at least one presenter turned up mid-summer wearing shorts (not at all unusual), only to discover he had a sequence on the sofa...

Cue mad search for someone in the newsroom wearing trousers with the same waist/leg measurements...

With the move to BH next year, I would think it would be unlikely.

Why? They do it every year, and if it's routine stuff it still needs to be done. The move's still many months away.

The move is supposedly now 2013.

They don't do it every year. They didn't last year in N6, nor did they in 2008.
