I only watch BBC News HD, and I can see the black border all the way round.
You probably (should
) have overscan disabled, so the 1080 x 1920 transmission will be a 1:1 pixel:pixel match. I tend to find that SD transmissions (aka 576) as viewed on screens that are native 1920 x 1080 are very overscanned, so it's odd that some in here have only noticed the borders on the SD version of the channel ?

I'll have to see if I can take a screenshot of it happening so those who haven't seen it can see exactly how large this border is.
No such problems with The Travel Show this weekend, well, not on my recording of the Saturday 0530 edition.
