They do with the digital front pages when they appear on-screen.

The issue is advertising appearing on BBC content.


I haven't seen the images blacked out during your 5AM time simulcast of World News. Unless for some reason there are two different graphics.


I'm not an avid viewer of the 5am newspaper review (not being up at 5am that often), but they blanked them out the last time I watched the UK edition of The Papers.

It looks like they brought back double-headed presenters: Simon and Jane. Or have they been doing this regularly since the end of the election?

NC currently showing the ticker with RSS feed stories. Like World does. Along with sport, markets and business

No it isn't, it's running normal ticker but on the Breaking news mode.

I presume that was a previously prepared package* at the start of the News at Six tonight, seeing as the announcement of Blatter's resignation has only just come through in the last few minutes

For the first few seconds I thought it must be a technical fault. Smooth it was not.

Can they really not the clean audio of the Blatter press conference and re-record the translation without the overmodulation?

It actually makes me cry that I have to watch Sky News now for rolling news. Better than the current BBC News Channel even with it's adverts!

I've switched to Sky as well for this hour. A day of big domestic stories which the News Channel isn't covering at the moment.
