The scenes with the on-screen ticker are from the test airings aren't they?

I suppose that a programme like this has to well rehearsed before the programme goes into it's 1st live airing on the NC? Would any protocols be changed or slightly altered while going through testing or is it all planned in advance of being aired?

Is Live the Story becoming the tag line for the BBC News Channel as well as BBC World Mews?

It wouldn't surprise me considering the editorial direction the NC will be taking from Tuesday, along with the simulcasts with World from the summer.

Will BBC Two be carrying the BBC News DOG and ticker during the programme?

Will BBC Two be carrying the BBC News DOG and ticker during the programme?

I suspect it most probably would be.

The programme will transmit clean on BBC Two - and with normal architecture on NC.

The short pilot clips in that studio tour show non-standard graphics that look a bit out of place when alongside the NC clock and ticker. If it's transmitting with 'normal architecture' on the NC will it carry normal graphics rather than the circular logo and smaller captions?

It's good that they are becoming more like sister stations but as the BBC World Service already has it on WN, will it be getting joint adverts on the NC?

So does this mean there will be no NC ticker? But there will be lower thirds I suppose?

I think VD has its own astons by the looks of the studio preview video. I'm sure MediaBoy can correct me if i'm wrong!

You're right, VD has it's very own (and quite ugly) lower thirds.

News Channel will simply run VD with the usual ticker/clock over the output.
