A slightly different question now. But does anybody know why presenters names do not appear in an Ashton at the TOTH?

Presenters names have not appeared since they began to introduce themselves since the move in March 2013.

Not quite right, they still appear on the News at Five.

But that is because the presenter on the News at Five, does not introduce themselves. They just say "today at Five."

Which means they do still appear on screen. You stated they haven't been used since the March move, which isn't quite right.

Both last night and tonight I've noticed a very thin white line along the bottom of the screen on BBC News HD on freeview.

It is where the aston wipes up from the bottom, like as if it hasn't completely gone off screen, but it's only visible when there is no ticker. It appears during the countdown too, but isn't noticeable once the logo and ticker appears

Does anybody know what this line is for, or whether it is just a fault?

I've seen it. Unintentional (I hope), someone hasn't clipped a key signal off completely somewhere in the chain.

How long will it take to resolve the problem do you think?

Mod Edit: User received a 1 week ban for this post. Stephen, many users have openly expressed their frustration at your questions which add nothing of value to the topic of conversation. I believe Asa also PM'ed you on the issue this morning. Please consider carefully how you post and contribute to the forum in future or there may not be one at all. Bail

So, saw a tweet saying BBC Minute starts on 14th Feb. I'm guessing it looks like a radio/audio download/streaming type thing, anyone know any more? Sorry if it's in the wrong topic - I couldn't really decide which thread to ask in.

I wonder where this output will be promoted.

Apparently a new bulletin that will be broadcast on the BBC World Service every half hour.

Ah thanks, it was retweeted by someone at BBC Scotland, but the video didn't really have a domestic feel so that explains that.

I noticed filming on the newsroom floor at the 1:40 junction away from BBC One this lunchtime. I looked like they were filming Clive Myrie walking from studio rather than W1A which I initially assumed it would be.

Oh yes! You seem to be right!

They must be shooting some sort of promo that involves Clive.
