In the current politics logo i think the gears lack movement, they look static, perhaps if you rotated them in the opposite direction?
Also agree with pad that it might also work better left-to-right... in fact both of pads suggestions are good.
As for CBBC and Ceebeebies - perhaps these dont need to be in boxes, but just be similar in animation style to the rest.
Also, it might just be me, but i feel the News and Worldwide logos are too smooth compared to the jaunty feel of the movement in 1-4. Not sure how else to describe it.
Just want to restate that i absolutely love the way these boxed logos animate. Unique and inspired. Well done. 5/5
The gears are rotating, and both the gears are moving, but that needs some work done.
All the logo animations are being done at 50 fps, and take about 38 to 40 frames to finish forming.
BBC Three, and BBC News use 3D elements and so have to be rendered and brought into After Effects, so maybe that has something to do with the look of it.
For me, I think they form too quickly and would prefer to see them slowed down a little bit. Especially if they formed at the bottom or side of the screen like this during trailers etc. It just seems a *little* too fast as they are, but apart from that, they are excellent.
I can sort of second that comment Paddy as I'm restricted to an awful 3G signal atm and they are playing more slowly than my original viewing. The slower speed animation works very well imo allowing time to appreciate the detail.
I agree with Justin, the animations are 5/5, but how will these work in trailers, end boards, etc? Do the logos remain in black and white all the time?
Whilst I think it would be good to see more presentation, the logo animations are important. Once there is a solid base (so the logos) then it's easier to move forward.

If you'd actually read the thread and Martin's responses instead of briefly scanning it so you can wax lyrical to seem like you care about others' work, you'd know the answer to that question.
It's completely up to Martin when (or even IF) he does more than the logos and animations; no one on this forum should be pestered into creating more than they are ready to make, nor do they deserve the inference their mocks are incomplete or inadequate for not containing elements of pres other users might personally want to see.
I'd welcome seeing these in other forms but it's Martin's call and if he doesn't, as they stand I think these are great in their own right.

I was not pestering mdtauk, I was commenting that his work so far is excellent, and I would like to see how he would incorporate his designs into other forms, such as trailers and end boards.
I completely agree that it is the mdtauk's call, and these are great in their own right. I wasn't demanding anything, I was simply commenting my personal preference as to how mdtauk should carry his project forward (if he so wishes).
I wanted to get the Logos to a state where people are happy with them, and then figure out how they should animate on screen.
Once that is done, I can think about the rest of the graphics. I jumped in fast before and did videos and trailers, but it wasn't the best work, so 2 years on, I want to get it right before going in on the full video production.
I am figuring this out as I go along, and welcome anyone submitting ideas and suggestions for Trailer Endboards, Promotions, Idents etc!
