That's just a standard unmodified Gill Sans '2', type it in Word for confirmation.
It's so head-desk-bangingly annoying they go to the effort but always seem to botch it somehow with the little details. That's the major difference between now and the 90s-mid 2000s.
Fun though and served its purpose.

Is it worth noting here that it seems that this special ident was put together by the programme (it was mentioned on the credits), rather than by pres themselves?

A bit of a cock-up on BBC TWO NI at 11:30am this morning before
Animal SOS.
A BBC ONE NI branded version of the
Rooney: The Man Behind the Goals
trail played out before opting-in to the Network version shortly before the swirled end board. After the poetry promo, Gorilla Tantrum played out but, like the Rooney promo, it shortly jumped to the Network's feed.

Alignment issues on BBC TWO NI - can you spot the two errors?
I won't dare post an image of the stacked 'BBC TWO Northern Ireland' logo used during the remainder of the promo - in a pedant's eyes, it's heart attack-inducing.
I don't really see why trails promoting shows like this have to adhere to having such shoddy 'mock-ups' of the channel's regular presentation. Is there any reason why the programme information has such a long fade-in delay as compared to, say, the end board shown at 01:30.
If you think this is bad, you should see it at Christmas.
