Good Morning Britain - 2015 Refresh/Tweaks

I don't think Kate Garraway purposely jeopardised her sight just to be like Susanna Reid.

Where would ITV schedule a "One Show style show"? They don't really have a time slot free do they? Emmerdale and Corrie kind of zap a daily slot in the early evening?

Yet more changes! But still we have to endure Kate Garraway.

You don't have to endure anybody you have a remote control you have the option of turning off the TV.

If you're going to warch regardless that's not a good reason to get rid. If you're going to watch and moan online even better reason to keep her.

So I watched a good hour of GMB this morning. I haven't seen it since earlier in the year because of my working hours, but I must say it's not TOO bad. It's not quite where it was back in April 2014 when it launched, but it wasn't quite the pantomime I was expecting after reading about it on here.

It seemed to be pushing what's "Coming Up" quite a lot, and it felt rather time consuming. Also the Entertainment segment with Dicky seemed to drag on as it was discussing the whole sofa surfing thing they did a few weeks back. Okay, I'm partial to a bit of banter, but I did feel as though I was listening into someones conversation towards the end.

I felt the news updates were good, and it was rather informative. Even found myself reading the ticker as it went along on occasion. And enjoyed the wedding dance video bit, It was something light to wake up to. Plus learnt a few things about keeping the property safe while away.

A good programme I must say. And they're working on the balance!

Found a clip of the evacuation and also the start of the stand by tape that was played, for anyone who missed it.

According to his Wikipedia page, John Stapleton has left the programme - I can't remember seeing it mentioned here, did he get a send off or anything?

I saw that the other week. If so, blimey ITV didnt give him any kind of send off after all those years gmtv, daybreak, etc

ITV not giving John Stapleton a farewell would be disgraceful.

Sue Jameson also appears to have left.

No need to be appalled on his behalf. If he has indeed left (and this is Wikipedia) he may have wanted to leave 'off screen'. People do leave workplaces without wanting a fuss to be made.

Wikipedia's hardly a reliable source though.



Or perhaps they are both simply on their holidays? You know, with it being August?

Well on the basis that Sue Jameson hasn't been seen for around 6 weeks, and John Stapleton for around 5, that's some holiday. Plus, it was previously speculated that Sue was leaving.
